ABOUT THE ARTIST    Fiber artist, Renèe Keels has been sewing all of her life.  In 2001, she developed an interest in learning the art of quilting.  Coached by an experienced quilter, her journey towards quilting began.  Originally, her work consisted mainly of traditional quilting.  As her skills developed, her work expanded to more non-traditional quilting techniques.  Renée works with commercial fabrics, African and other ethnic print fabrics, and many seasonal designs.  Renée will design and create a quilt or other item with your color palette as her guide.  She specializes in quilted jackets.
